Set on commanding heights between London and York, Lincoln – or Lindum Colonia – was one of the principal cities of Roman Britain. Today, the city is the setting for a pioneering 21st Century civic university.
The University of Lincoln would not have existed if it was not for the generous support and goodwill of the community and the donors and partners of the institution.
Lincoln is now an established university which generates nearly £300 million a year for the region’s economy.
It provides higher education to nearly 12,000 students each year and conducts groundbreaking research across a diverse range of disciplines.
I am proud to be making a difference to the future through the University of Lincoln and I hope you will be too.
