The 24th Annual Meeting of the Fire and Explosion Investigation Working Group takes place at the University of Lincoln, UK from Monday 11th September to Thursday 14th September 2023.

The Working Group brings together delegates from across the world in a wide range of fields and stages of their careers to attend plenary lectures and workshops from world leading guest speakers in fire and explosion investigation work, as well as Working Group Subcommittee meetings.

ENFSI meeting are always characterized by sharing experiences and knowledge with colleagues from past and present work via the Working Groups and project groups in an open forum. Our meetings also involve time to network and socialise within evening activities as well as time to explore our host city, the historic city of Lincoln.

Lincoln, the beautiful historic city full of heritage and culture - home to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral, castle remains, ancient walls, and medieval architecture. Lincoln is a popular location for a city break in the UK so we encourage you to explore whilst you are here or extend your stay so that you can wander along the picturesque, cobbled streets and take in the spectacular sights of Lincoln's magnificent historic architecture. The city is full of fun attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy plus lots of delicious places to eat and drink.

The University is located within the heart of the historic city of Lincoln on the edge of the Brayford Pool with views of the Cathedral and Castle within the medieval Bailgate Quarter.
