Description

The First Annual Conference on Nature-based Solutions using Carbon and Biodiversity Credit takes place at the University of Lincoln, UK from Thursday 27th to Friday 28th July 2023.

With increasing attention being given to refining, scaling up and integrating the biodiversity and carbon credit markets, which has been the focus of discussion at recent international climate and biodiversity conferences in 2022 and the Davos Forum in 2023 the timing of the conference is pertinent. This conference will enable public and private sector practitioners and policy makers to work together to accelerate the implementation of carbon and biodiversity credit schemes worldwide. We are aiming to bring together academics, financiers, corporates and policy makers together to identify opportunities for nature based investments over the two days.

The First Annual Conference on Nature-based Solutions using Carbon and Biodiversity Credit Funding will feature interactive panel discussion led by key individuals and organisations working across these fields in the UK and overseas. For further information on content please head to the conference website.

Lincoln
Lincoln, the beautiful historic city full of heritage and culture - home to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral, castle remains, ancient walls, and medieval architecture. Lincoln is a popular location for a city break in the UK so we encourage you to explore whilst you are here or extend your stay so that you can wander along the picturesque, cobbled streets and take in the spectacular sights of Lincoln's magnificent historic architecture. The city is full of fun attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy plus lots of delicious places to eat and drink.

The University is located within the heart of the historic city of Lincoln on the edge of the Brayford Pool with views of the Cathedral and Castle within the medieval Bailgate Quarter.
